Hi, I’m Evan
After a career in corporate leadership and business management, I made the decision to pursue something I’ve loved my entire life: photography. I grew up around it—both of my parents worked for Kodak during the heyday of film production, and some of my fondest memories are of developing film and prints in a makeshift darkroom. What started as a childhood fascination has grown into a craft, and now a business: Halide Photography.
At Halide, I work with you to realize your vision for your best self. I use light, composition, and style to capture images that feel real, confident, and unmistakably you. My goal is simple: to make you look and feel better than you thought you could. Whether you're updating your headshot to elevate your career, building visual content that reflects your personal or professional brand, or capturing editorial-style portraits that express your unique style, I bring a collaborative, detail-focused approach to every session.
This is more than just photography—it’s about helping you show up in the world with authenticity and confidence.
Located on Boston’s North Shore, Halide serves clients throughout Greater Boston, as well as Rhode Island and Southern New Hampshire.
Why the name Halide?
Pronounced “hey-lied”
The name is a nod to the roots of photography itself. Silver halide is the light-sensitive compound used in film photography — the very chemistry that first made capturing images widely accessible to photographers over a century ago.
Film photography has always been part of how I see the world — and “Halide” is a way of honoring photography’s history while building something new.
